Clearing & Forwarding
IVANOS Logistics & Company Ltd provides professional road freight clearing and forwarding services for imports and exports across East Africa. Our licensed clearing agents work directly with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) at the Port of Mombasa and the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) at inland border points including Malaba, Busia, and Mutukula.
We handle the complete customs clearance process on your behalf — from lodging import and export declarations, computing and paying applicable duties and taxes, to securing release of your cargo in the shortest possible time. Our deep familiarity with EAC Customs Management Act provisions, the East African Community Common External Tariff, and COMESA protocols means your cargo moves through without unnecessary delays or demurrage charges.
Our clearing and forwarding services include:
- Pre-arrival documentation review and tariff classification
- Lodgement of import and export entries with relevant revenue authorities
- Computation and payment of import duties, VAT, and excise
- Liaison with Port Health, KEBS, UNBS, and other government agencies
- Cargo examination supervision and stuffing/destuffing attendance
- Container deposit management and release at Mombasa Port
- Arrangement of bonded warehouse where required
- Post-clearance audit support and compliance advisory
We operate on the principle that no vessel delay, no container demurrage, and no storage fees should ever be incurred by our clients due to slow clearance. Speed and accuracy are our baseline — not our selling point.
